MTABC and its research department include among their goals, a commitment to “…encourage and support the development of scientific inquiry as a feature of the profession….”. Toward that end, the MTABC research department has established an awards program to recognize and reward those individuals whose work helps fulfill this goal.
The purpose of the Student Clinical Case Report Award is to increase the emphasis, which students place on writing case studies and acknowledge students efforts.
Clinical case reports play an important role in research development. The clinical case report generates and examines new hypothesis, and reports on the experience of each individual practitioner. These are all important steps on the road to randomized controlled trials that put those hypotheses to the test.
For further information please review these PDFs on MTABC Case Reports. Older Case Reports are on page 2.
Submission guidelines can be found on the members only section. Please log-in (upper right-hand corner), go to the "Research" tab and select "Grants & Awards."
